  1. Short:    GNU Emacs interface to SCMSG, the SAS/C error handler

  5. Interface routined between SCMSG, the SAS/C error handler, and GNU
  6. Emacs. 
  7.  
  8. Featuring:
  9. - Walk in the SCMSG message list from within Emacs
  10. - Call Emacs from SCMSG.
  11. - The correct file is loded automatically, the cursor is positioned
  12.   on the correct line and the error message is displayed in the 
  13.   mimibuffer.
  14. - The `alternate' file can be viewed
  15. - (Re)compilations can be started from within Emacs, with the output
  16.   displayed in an Emacs buffer.
  17. - Always uses a running Emacs, if one is avaiable.
  18. - AutoEdit: The first error is autmatically displayed (optional)
  19. - The SCMSG window need not be open
  20. - Implemented as a Gnu Emacs minor mode, which can be used under
  21.   any major mode, not only c-mode
